For the best burning experience and safety please follow these guidelines.
You may have to expand upon these guidelines since you best know the environment
into which you are placing the candle.  Please be safe.
Candle Care

  • Always trim the candle wick with a wick trimmer to 1/4" before lighting.  This will allow proper
burning of the candle and help reduce soot emissions.

  • Keep candles away from combustible objects or substances and out of drafts.

  • Keep candle free of foreign material - matches, wick clippings.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Never move a burning candle.

  • Keep children and pets away from burning candles or a candle that has been recently
extinguished the hot wax can still burn or at least ruin a nice piece of furniture.

  • Burn your candle on a level heat resistant surface such as a candle holder or trivet.  Candle
containers can become hot enough to damage furniture.

  • When burning your candle allow it to completely melt the top layer of wax for even burning,
this should be done every time you light your candle.  The general rule is to burn the
candle for 1 hour per inch of candle diameter.  Additionally candles should not be burned
for extended periods.  A typical burn time would be 3 to 5 hours depending on the size of
    the candle.

  • Extinguish your candle in a safe manner using a snuffer or a wick dipper (preferred) by
dipping the wick into the melted wax.

  • Discontinue use when there is 1/2" of wax left in the bottom of the container.  Continued
burning at a level less than 1/2" could cause the container to overheat and break or
damage the surface it is on.

  • If a candle container becomes cracked or chipped do not use it.  For safety discard it in a
manner that no one can use it.
